Children's Ministry
At First Baptist, our goal is to guide our children toward a relationship with Jesus and to strengthen their relationship with Him through biblical teaching, mission education and musical experience with developmentally appropriate methods for children ranging from birth through the fifth grade.
We, as children’s ministry leaders, strive to create an environment that is safe and secure; making safety a priority for all of our children.

What We Do
Weekly schedule
Throughout the year, we provide Sunday school for all ages, beginning at 9:45am in the Children’s Wing of our Sanctuary building.
During the school year, on Wednesday evening, 5:30-7:00pm, our preschool through fifth grade children participate in a church-wide supper, followed by mission education and music.
worship participation
During worship, children are given an opportunity to receive a message specifically designed for them.
Additionally, as a part of our Wednesday activities during the school year, children share their musical gifts monthly, in worship.

Special events
Our children’s ministry stays very active throughout the year.
Events include: Back to School Party, Hall-o-lu-jah Palooza & Trunk or Treat, Friends-Giving, Hanging of the Green, Christmas Musicals, Parents’ Night Out, VBS and so much more.
